The School

Christ the Redeemer’s Prime Seed School was born as a result of a burden by the wife of the pastor in charge of the then Delta Province One. Pastor (Mrs.) Gloria Olumide. Her aim was to impact the current and future generations of children in the environment through the channel of Christian Education in Redeemed Christian Church of God.

The burden became a vision by the push of our Mother-in-Israel, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, who encouraged the planting of our visionary seeds no matter how small. The vision debuted as after school extra mural support in the upper floor of the then Delta one Provincial Headquarters.

The Good Women in the Province rented a small compound of 2 three bedroom flats. The Redeemer’s Prime Seed Schools commenced officially on the 5th of September, 2005.

The name Prime Seed, speaks about the palm seed on our logo, there are no waste or ordinary parts, in our destiny. In every season and on every side you can only derive from us PROFIT and VALUE of all seeds of tomorrow and forever.

In the year 2008, God helped us to acquire a landed property at plot 711, 2nd Street of DDPA Estate, with over forty (40) classrooms including a library, music room, computer room and a Prime Care Super Mart, the school is equipped with a 40KVA generator, air conditioners and purpose designed pupil’s offices.

The school was dedicated on the 27th day of July, 2010 under Delta Province One by the then regional pastor of region 13 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor S.E. Akande.

In August, 2011, a new province (Delta Province 5) was carved out of Delta Province One and the school came under the supervision of the new province (Delta Province 5).

In September 2014, the secondary section commenced. This was dedicated in the 23rd day of August, 2015 under Delta Province 5 by the Regional Pastor of region 23 of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Kalejaye.
